Imagine a world. A world in unison. A world that works together. Maybe even a world at peace. A world giving effort to equalize pay and create a machine that works for all. A business worked for and owned by the workforce. One major currency for the working class people of the planet. A business that has no ties and no buy-ins from any outsiders. A business for the people and by the people. Where would the funds come from to start such a venture? That is the root of all evil. The ones in power do not want to share that power. Our populations are working for the bottom fraction of a percent to share amongst ourselves. Companies have become so full of greed, they do not even care to help the people that are working for them. A company built by an individual can remain owned by said individual. If a company were built from a collective, it could thrive for the collective. This movement would require major cooperation from the powers that be. Whether billionaires or governments, they have the world’s purse. If a shift in wealth occurred, it would have to come from the top down. The whole “idea” of the top helping the bottom. The bottom, then able to build up to the middle, and have the world’s power flipped to the people. There could be plenty to go around for the ultra-wealthy as well. The economic freedoms that would become a new system of governance in itself. Let the markets start being owned by a workforce of the planet. A global effort to overcome the desperations of mankind and turn the world green. Let the planet thrive as well as the people. We can all fix a broken planet.
I have a vision of an effort towards cleaning our environment. Taking trash and turning it into very useful things. I think the single most important challenge of today is fresh water. Fresh water for humans and fresh water for artificial intelligence. Building affordable housing for all who need it. Building wealth for the bottom up. If the floor raises, so does the ceiling. If every worker were to have a say in the sovereign community, if they had shares only that can be earned with labor, it would be a just system. Every hour worked, getting a share in the collective. An equal share for every hour worked no matter the placement on the totem pole. A world justly serving its own people. A world that is fair. Is that even possible? I do not know, but I do believe it is worth a try.
Starting with our beautiful oceans. We have so many plastics floating around in our waters and being buried in our lands. These plastics could be made into a million different things. The topmost, to create fresh water out of our vast oceans. Build housing. We take our worst shorelines and make the governments pay the collective to remove trash and restore their shorelines. This investment could get the ball rolling right away. Money in, people to work, and a new model for labor. Equal share of their own future.
So now we are collecting plastics. We employ a fleet of ships to collect and start processing right on the boats that are collecting this gold of a material. As the ships make it to dock. Labor owned trucks pick it up, and drive it straight to our forge. The most critical part of this grand plan. As we purify these plastics and create HDPE material (High-Density Polyethylene), and create the molds of the many uses. The most important use for this type of material is piping. Piping for desalinisation plants. We need to address this fresh water issue. The material is non-corrosive. It can be used to transport sea water and all through the desalinisation plants that would be built.
Another basic material we want to produce would be building blocks for housing. I believe the plastics that are left over after the HDPE processing for pipes and related material, we can create building blocks for housing type materials. There are already companies building entire structures with “lego” type blocks. To turn the world’s trash into houses would be amazing. Even the roof shingles could be pressed out of our forge. We team up with any builder of these types of constructions. We build sheets, blocks, shingles, and any other type of mold needed to construct an entire house. The tubs, the showers, the flooring, the sinks, our forge could build a world of wealth out of trash. Literally, the sky isn’t even the limit! What if we could build in space? An entire space station made of Earth’s trash? Worker built. Worker owned. A global collective that could change the entire future of mankind. We could literally build in space. HDPE can easily be welded at the seams. The material is light to ship up, and easy to handle. Just a thought.
Imagine. Floating docks all around the world. Made purely of the trash that was floating around polluting our waters. Entire islands could be built out of trash! Why not? The possibilities are endless. Why stop there? We could build the very ships we use to collect more recycles.
With the correct group of people that have enough stature to actually sway any type of powers that be, momentous things could happen. This could truly be the single greatest thing mankind has ever accomplished. There is no reason this vision could not become a reality. If you feel the same, let us do something about it.
